The annual INBAM Conference offers scholars the opportunity to present their research directly to the editors of the SSCI ranked journals where they wish to publish their work. This facet, added to the possibility of publishing in the subsequent INBAM special issue, makes this yearly event entirely unique. The meeting provides a friendly and sociable context in which to meet colleagues from other countries, exchange ideas, knowledge and information on potential joint research projects.

2013 – Lisbon, Portugal.

The third conference of the International Network of Business and Management Journals (INBAM) will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from June 17 to 19 2013. The Technical University of Lisbon (UTL) will welcome 18 editors-in-chief of top international journals from around the world. There will be a total of 17 sessions, one for each journal. Abstracts are accepted until december 15th, and full papers should be submitted to the INBAM website by January 31 st.

INBAM is looking forward to receiving submissions. Please make sure your paper suits the journal your are submitting.

2012 – Valencia, Spain

The Second Conference of the International Network of Business and Management Journals (INBAM) entitled ”Brokering Knowledge” took place in Valencia (Spain) from March 20th to March 22nd, 2012, after the great Valencian fiestas: Las Fallas. Thirteen editors of leading journals participated in this 2nd Conference. It was organized by the INBAM Association and the Universityof Valencia, the Catholic University of Valencia, the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia and the business school ESIC.

2010 – Valencia, Spain

The First Conference of the International Network of Business and Management Journals (INBAM) entitled ” Creativity and Innovation in an International Context” was held in Valencia (Spain) from June 1st to June 4th, 2010. Eight editors of leading journals participated in the 1st Conference. It was organized by the INBAM Association and the University of Valencia, the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia and the business school ESIC.

The following editors-in-chief attended and participated: Robert Blackburn (International Small Business Journal), Roy Thurik (Small Business Economics), Theresa Welbourne (Human Resource Management), Slawek Magala (Journal of Organizational Change Management), Gary Akehurst (Service Industries Journal), Adrian Ziderman (International Journal of Manpower), Rick D. Hackett (Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences), and Linda Canina (Cornell Hospitality Quarterly).
